Bali M.E.T.

Briefly Bali MET

A Spirit Eco-Techno project.

spirituality:

The official name of the Bali Hinduism is Agama Hindu Dharma or Hindu. Agama means "religion"; dharma is not so easy to be caught. In fact, understanding the concept of dharma is the easiest way to understand the basic philosophy of Hinduism. Hinduism is largely concerned with dharma, the organizing force that maintains order. Dharma is the organization that the universe as a whole, leads the relationship between different parts and the actions under the different parts. Hinduism recognizes the universe as an organized whole in which every person, every animal, and everything is all encompassing. And each of these parts is in a clearly defined relationship to every other part. This relationship is dharma. A Hindu believes his actions, his karma in harmony with his dharma, "duty" or should be commissioned. A Hindu can not look at the world from the vantage point of his personal interests, without regard to the interests of his fellow men, his fellow creatures, and his fellow non-living objects. His karma must be in relation to them, and with his own dharma. If his karma meets his dharma, he contributes to order and harmony. If he does not, he contributes to disorder, chaos, and adharma. The degree to which a person performs karma one's dharma determines the future of one Atman, "peace of mind." Karma which not one's personal dharma fits produces fines - or at the time of improper conduct or in the future or in a future life. The only salvation of dharma is the organizing force is maintained at least as powerful as the disorderly, in order to maintain balance. A Hindu living in unison with dharma. He tries to desire, karma, responds with an action, karma, what affection is his dharma. The key word is "affectionate." Someone does not do good deeds as a Hindu, somebody behaves affectionate.

A Balinese Village is a true living organism

Bali's many temples and its inhabitants must be fed with a regular series of ceremonies, just as human beings have to consume food. So you keep the negative, impure forces of destruction in balance with the positive, holy, pure forces of the building. The Hindu Balinese philosophy set itself the universe and everything it comprises, as a balance between good and evil forces. Neither can be removed either, but evil things can happen if nothing is done to maintain the balance so that negative influences prevail. Religious ceremonies and rituals maintain this balance. The sweet sacrifice rings that you see every day as a visitor for the positive forces, but equal attention is given to their corresponding negative part, although it is not apparent to you.

Larger ceremonies are cooperative social events, various social groups working in the public interest to a joint project. Hundreds of villagers prepare together offerings, food and decorations for, and pay attention to the thousand and one details that larger ceremonies in the entail. But the main theme is naturally religious. The gods are invited to descend and take in the great temples which are reserved for them. A "ladder" of prayers and incense for their descent is provided by the pemangku. If the invited gods are present once they have suitable fed and entertained, as well as expect to be treated any human honored guest, but in this case additionally because the guests are divine. The perfumed air, the colors and decorations, the music, dance and entertainment, chanting the sacred texts, and are offered the intent of many offerings to satisfy all sensory perception of the holy visitors and welcome them in their earthly home and with their families,
